Hey Bill, the new GoPro Hero 11 is capable of recording using the full frame sensor size (8:7) in 10 bit color. This means that it records a heck of a lot more image information than previous models and to split the files at 4GB would no longer be an option. So it looks like it now chapters them to 12GB instead.
